Welcome! As a lifelong resident of Northeast Kansas, I am a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who is passionate about education. With a Master's degree from Emporia State University and 28 years of experience in the field, I am now a candidate for the Kansas State Board of Education, committed to making a positive impact on the future of education in our community.

Kansas kids deserve classrooms that are ready to teach. Jennifer will fight to make sure public schools have the funding they need — for teachers, textbooks, and the special education services that too many families are still waiting on.
Curriculum that works
What we teach our kids should be based on what actually helps them learn — not political trends from either direction. Jennifer supports research-backed curriculum that prepares Kansas students for real life, good jobs, and a future right here at home.

We are losing good teachers and we can't afford to keep doing that. Jennifer has spent 28 years in Kansas classrooms and knows what it takes to keep great educators in our schools — fair pay, the right resources, and the respect the job deserves.
Kids learn better without screens
Phones and devices have their place, but the classroom isn't it. Jennifer believes Kansas schools should reduce their reliance on screens and get back to the kind of hands-on, teacher-led instruction that rural Kansas families know works.
